My position on the role of Nigerian youths

At the 1st Ikorodu Division Youth Summit, I had the opportunity to speak my truth when permitted to give my 2cents on youth inclusiveness in governance & community development.

"Youths can get involved as stakeholders in governance & community development in various ways asides contesting elective positions at general elections."

Most of us urgently need to become active as voters, advocates, trainers, trainees, employers, employees and perfect role models for the younger generation.

We need to use our internet space more productively. Let's abandon frivolities like fake news/hoax messages, pornography, internet fraud E.T.C for more productive activities that will better our lot as individuals and collectively as a Nation.

We also need to position ourselves to ask vital questions from our elected officers in various capacities. Those, including the appointed ones MUST remain accountable to the people and display transparency as a core value in the running of their offices.

Let us also join hands to celebrate & reward our integrity heroes while we demand adequate sanctions for the corrupt officials.

Abandon thuggery and all forms of malpractices. "WE ARE YOUTHS, LET US CHANGE THE NARRATIVES."

GOD BLESS NIGERIA!
